The weather is getting hotter day by day now, and I believe in a few more days everyone won't even want to go out the door. Since that's the case, you might as well stay home and grow the flowering plants below. The weather is getting hotter day by day now, and I believe in a few more days everyone won't even want to go out the door. Since that's the case, you might as well stay home and grow the flowering plants below. Every one of them is good-looking, and best of all, you don't have to worry about not being able to keep them alive!

1. Lily of the valley

Lily of the valley has a small, compact form, and its white flowers bloom in strings, just like little bells. It is very endearing, and it also has a faint fragrance.

Lily of the valley likes a cooler and slightly moist growing environment. After all, it grows so "girly," so high temperatures and strong light are absolutely out of the question. Because of the high summer temperatures, water evaporates very quickly, so remember to replenish water in time and just keep the soil moist, especially right after sowing, so it can sprout faster!

2. Zinnia

Zinnia flowers are big and bright, and the flowering period is especially long, because it can bloom for a hundred days, which is how it got its name. Especially in summer, if you can see flowers in so many colors, your mood will surely improve along with them.

Zinnia loves a warm growing environment. If you want its flowers to be big and bright, then sunlight is naturally indispensable. It can also tolerate a slightly drier environment, but remember not to water it too much. After sprouting, it can be planted. If you have a yard, you can plant it directly in the yard, and it will grow faster that way!

3. Balloon flower

The balloon flower blooms as a small blue-purple flower, both elegant and lovely. But what I think is even more distinctive is its bud before it opens, because it looks just like an inflated balloon, and you can't resist wanting to poke it, so some people also call it balloon flower!

Balloon flower likes a warm and comfortable growing environment. It will only bloom with sufficient light, but it is also afraid of direct strong light! So before the hot summer arrives, we had better plant it under tree shade, so it can get sunlight and also have the protection of a "sunshade"!

4. Nasturtium

Nasturtium's leaves look very much like those of bowl lotus, but its flowers are orange, and it can bloom many at a time, with a particularly long flowering period too. Green leaves paired with small orange flowers, whether placed indoors or outdoors, are very eye-catching!

Nasturtium loves a warm growing environment with plenty of sunlight, so after sowing, remember to put it in a sunny place, especially after it sprouts. But it is also afraid of waterlogging, so while controlling the frequency of watering, we also need to keep the soil breathable! Because it grows very fast, we can set up a trellis for it to climb on, which will greatly increase its ornamental value.

5. Hibiscus moscheutos

Hibiscus moscheutos not only has a nice name, its looks are also quite impressive. Its flowers are on the large side compared with those of flowering plants, but they don't look lacking in liveliness at all. Especially in the sunlight, attracting bees and butterflies, paired with thin pink petals whose entire texture can be seen, it is enough to make you fall in love with it at first sight!

Likewise, Hibiscus moscheutos also likes a warm living environment, and sunlight must be sufficient too. Only with long hours of light can it bloom smoothly! When watering, we should keep the soil moist and not let the soil dry out too severely, especially now! If you don't want to see leaves and flowers with no energy, then you need to be diligent!
