Pothos is an evergreen plant in all four seasons and is a foliage plant loved by many flower growers. Keeping one potted plant is very elegant and beautiful. Its green leaves give people a breath of green, and it also has the function of purifying the air.

Some flower growers report that during the growing season, no matter how they care for their pothos, it never grows explosively. So today Hua'er will introduce some tips for caring for pothos, so it keeps growing rapidly, climbs all over the wall in half a month, and forms a green sea!

The growth of pothos needs sufficient nitrogen fertilizer, but if the proportion is not balanced with other fertilizers, it will cause leggy growth or inhibit growth. Applying some fermented bean fertilizer can make up for this very well, allowing the whole plant to keep growing rapidly, with leaves still green, glossy, and very beautiful.

Specific method: Soak soybeans, mung beans, red beans, etc. overnight, then put them in a soy milk maker and grind them into soy milk. After it cools, pour it into a plastic bottle (it must have a lid). The concentration should not be too ordinary; fill the bottle to eight-tenths full. You can drip in a few drops of insecticide to speed up decomposition, then place it in a warmer place with scattered light. After about one month it can be used.

When applying, directly take the upper clear liquid, mix it with clean water at a 1:10 ratio, and water once every ten days. If it is hydroponic pothos, first mix it with water at a 1:20 ratio, then add it to the hydroponic bottle. Do not pour it in directly, as it can easily cause root burn.

After using the fertilizer water, dry the remaining bean residue first, then bury it directly into the flowerpot of soil-cultured pothos. In this way, "one fertilizing and one burying" can provide enough nutrients for pothos and let it grow better.

In addition to fertilizing, pothos care also requires attention to light and watering:

1. Light

Pothos is a shade-loving plant and avoids direct light. It should be cared for in a semi-shady environment. In spring, summer, and autumn, place it at a north-facing or east-facing window for care.

2. Watering

Pothos likes a humid environment, so water it more to maintain the moisture of the potting soil. In summer, also frequently spray water on the leaves and around them to increase humidity and make the leaves even brighter green.

Pothos care is introduced here. If flower growers have other additions, you can share them with everyone in the comment section below. If you want to learn more about flower-growing knowledge, you can follow Huajianke!
