Sister Wang's pothos at home grows especially lush and well. When asked if she has a secret recipe, she smiled and said, just give it a bowl of green-green water, and yours can too! What is green-green water? Little Hua was completely confused listening to this, and after asking Sister Wang finally figured it out: it is actually the water left from boiling vegetables, which looks a bit green, so everyone calls it green-green water.

Let's take a look together at what this green-green water everyone is talking about is like!

This method was discovered by Sister Wang by accident. Once she wanted to blanch bok choy to make a cold salad, so she put the bok choy in the pot and blanched it briefly, then mixed it to eat. But she found that throwing away the green soup water in the pot felt like a waste, so she poured the water into a bottle and left it outside the house. After more than 20 days, Sister Wang suddenly remembered her vegetable water, so she poured out part of the water, mixed in some tap water, and watered the pothos with it. After using it a few times, unexpectedly the pothos grew like crazy. Now Sister Wang's pothos has covered the wall.

Fellow flower lovers, you can do this too

Sister Wang later also used rice washing water to water the pothos

Sister Wang says the fermentation process of rice washing water smells very bad, so you can put some orange peel in it and ferment it together, and gradually it will stop smelling. Also, do not screw the bottle cap too tight. In the current weather, it can be used after about 20 days. Using fermented rice washing water to water flowers needs to be diluted, generally at 1 part rice washing water to 8 parts clear water.

Pothos care also needs attention

1. For the potting soil for cultivating pothos, it is best to choose a growing medium mixed evenly from 3 parts leaf mold, 3 parts garden soil, 3 parts river sand, and 1 part barnyard manure.

2. The simplest propagation method: select thick and strong stems and leaves, cut a "cross" shape at the bottom with a knife, then insert it into plain gauze, and spray water every day.

3. The original growing condition of pothos is in forests shaded by towering trees, so its heliotropism is not strong. But in the northern autumn and winter, in order to make up for the lack of temperature and photosynthesis, its light exposure should be increased.

4. Generally in spring and late autumn, water once every 2 to 3 days; in summer, water once a day, and often spray water on the leaf surfaces and the surrounding ground to increase air humidity and keep the leaves bright green. In winter, watering should be controlled, and water only after the soil surface looks dry. There must be no water accumulation.

That's all for today's sharing, I hope everyone likes it.
