Water the asparagus fern with these 4 kinds of water, and it will be lush and green, shooting straight up to the ceiling in less than half a year

The asparagus fern has lush, verdant leaves and is highly valued for its ornamental beauty. However, when caring for an asparagus fern, growers can easily end up with yellow leaves if they are not careful. If you want your asparagus fern to stay green all year round without yellowing, water it with these 3 kinds of water during routine care, and the asparagus fern will quickly shoot up to the ceiling.
1. Rice water. The asparagus fern likes fertilizer, mainly nitrogen-based, and it should be applied in small amounts frequently, so you can usually water it with rice water. To use rice water on an asparagus fern, it must first be fermented; unfermented rice water will undergo a natural fermentation process after being poured in, and this process generates heat, which in severe cases can burn the roots. Rice water also has a certain smell during fermentation, especially in summer when it smells a bit foul. You can put orange peel in the bottle to ferment along with it, preferably chopped up a bit, and the smell will gradually disappear.
2. Vinegar mixed with water. When caring for an asparagus fern, if we water it with tap water over a long period, the soil will become alkaline, which is a major cause of yellowing leaves. To neutralize the soil's pH, mix vinegar with water and pour it into the potting soil. The asparagus fern prefers slightly acidic soil, and doing this can greatly reduce the likelihood of yellow leaves.
3. Water soaked with apple peel. Use water soaked with apple peel to water the asparagus fern, because apple peel contains very rich nutrients. Pouring fermented apple peel water on the asparagus fern can provide fairly ample nutrients and help it grow quickly!
4. Water from washing shredded potatoes. The water everyone normally uses to wash potato chunks or shredded potatoes is usually rich in nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, vitamins, calcium, sodium and more, making it a great material for growing asparagus ferns! Normally, pour the potato-washing water into a large plastic bucket, do not fill it to the brim, then cover it with a lid and leave it in the sun for about a month; open the lid every so often to release gas. After about a month, pour out a little of the potato-washing water, dilute it with 10 times its volume of clean water, and pour it directly onto the soil surface of the asparagus fern. After drinking this, the asparagus fern will sprout like crazy and grow vigorously!
When yellow leaves appear on an indoor asparagus fern, it is recommended to cut off the yellow leaves and move it outdoors to a ventilated spot with bright, indirect light for about 2 weeks, and the leaves will grow back dense and lush.
