For the succulent garden of my dreams, I fall in love with a city and love a home

In this small city on the southern border, neither wealthy nor developed,
in my eyes it is the place most favored by heaven:
it has the freshest air, the brightest sunshine, truly no severe cold in winter and no scorching heat in summer! Four seasons like spring!
It is my hometown, Qujing City, Yunnan Province!
Precisely because it is not a tourist hotspot, it lacks the noise and restlessness,
and has more tranquility and peace. With a population of less than a million, no large-scale industry, and a relatively low cost of living, people
live free and at ease, leisurely and serene!
Without the pressure and tension of city dwellers, they fully enjoy the greatest wealth bestowed by heaven!
Here people also love succulents, which likewise love bright sunshine and fresh air.
Though you cannot say every household has succulents, succulents are everywhere,
the most common being native varieties: Echeveria 'Yudie' (graptopetalum paraguayense hybrid), jade plant (Crassula ovata), Graptopetalum paraguayense, Pachyphytum 'Winter Beauty'...
On neighbors' balconies and in old country houses, they appear and disappear from view!
Breathe deeply to your heart's content; the air is sweet,
the breeze is cool, the sky is blue, the clouds are white!
The heart ripples; this is the taste of sunshine!
Wherever the sunshine is, that is where I shine!
You give me a bit of sunshine, I give you a bit of color!
Staying together, never parting, brilliance forever!
Whether planted in the ground or grown in pots, succulents always bring out the best in each other,
not vulgar, not flashy, plainness reveals Zen!
Just like the people living here, living up to the bright spring light!
Styles differ greatly, yet they are equally beautiful!
Whether paired with flowers of the four seasons, or landscaped with rugged rocks in a natural style,
it all looks innate, without a trace of affectation!
You can have a European-style landscape, or a cozy little courtyard,
moving entirely according to your mood!
Serving tea to guests in leisure time, sitting in a daze in the afternoon, it is always the best companion, silence surpassing the sounds of nature!
Admiring flowers and watching fish, a leisurely mood,
time flies so fast!
Before you know it, your hair has turned white! Yet it keeps its spring face, laughing at your folly!
Whose palette was left behind,
red is passion, purple is romance, green is vitality,
blue is surprise, orange is happiness, cyan is longing...
.What color are you? Right now!
Love a city!
Love a home!
With sunshine, with succulents, with distant places, and with poetry singing!
