Division propagation: Simply separate the stems and leaves of the aloe from the original plant and plant them in soil. Cuttings propagation: Use a knife to cut off its healthy and robust leaves, then disinfect and dry them. After the wound dries, insert them into the soil and that's it.

1. Division propagation

This method is more flexible in timing and can be done throughout the entire growth process of the plant, from small to large. Specifically, there are three ways to do it:

① The first method is to snap its stem directly off the original plant, or you can separate the new plants growing from its roots, and then simply plant the snapped-off or separated plants into the soil.

② The second method is to use a knife to separate its young shoots from the original plant, but there is no need to take them out. Just let them remain in their original position, and after half a month they will grow their own roots. At that point, they can be transplanted.

③ The last method is to separate it from the original plant and place it in a ventilated spot to dry for a few days. After its wound has roughly healed, plant it and water it promptly.

2. Cuttings propagation

This method takes advantage of one of its characteristics: roots may grow from the underside of its main stem and the branches beside it. We only need to peel it off from the original plant, and then new roots will grow.

However, this method has relatively high environmental requirements. The temperature should be maintained between 25°C and 28°C, and the soil temperature should be two degrees higher than the air temperature. Only at this temperature can roots grow relatively quickly. If the temperature is too low, it will affect root growth. Also, the soil should not be too wet, but the air humidity can be a bit higher.

The specific method is: during its growing season, use a knife to cut off its healthy and robust leaves. After disinfecting and drying until the wound is dry, the leaves can be inserted into the soil. The specific depth only needs to be enough to keep the leaves from falling over.
