Introduction: Welcome to "Favorite Flower Language - Good Flower Recommendations" Episode 690. As people's living standards rise and spare time becomes richer, more and more people are joining the ranks of flower growing. In fact, growing flowers is wonderful: not only can it cultivate character and lift the spirits, it is also a delight to the eyes and freshens the air, and it can decorate an otherwise somewhat dull home with life.

There are many kinds of flowers, but not many are both highly ornamental and very easy to grow. Many flower lovers buy showy flowers that need more demanding care, and within a few months of growing them they wither. Sometimes the problem is simply that the flower variety was not the right choice. Today I would like to recommend an exceptionally fine potted gem.

This flower is the amaryllis (Hippeastrum). Many flower lovers are familiar with the amaryllis; it is a flower variety with extremely high ornamental value that many flower lovers adore. In fact, the amaryllis is a perennial herbaceous plant, also called red flower lotus, huazhou (zhou) orchid and other names; there are quite a few names, so I will not list them all.

The amaryllis is an extremely upright-growing plant. Its roots are bulbous and can be propagated; its leaves are emerald green all year round; its flower stem is hollow and tube-shaped; and the overall flower color is magenta, with some also slightly marked with green veins.

Many flower lovers are very fond of its huge and extremely distinctive blooms. The overall flower shape is trumpet-like. Whenever the flowers bloom, the bright red trumpet-shaped blossoms are held aloft by the upright stems and leaves, giving extremely high ornamental value.
