Recently I saw my neighbor growing succulents hydroponically, with colorful little succulents packed into a transparent glass bottle, both beautiful and clean! So today Huahua will introduce a few simple hydroponic succulent tips!

First, let me share a batch of beautiful hydroponic succulent photos!

Very beautiful, right? Next, Huahua will introduce the tips for hydroponic succulents!

Hydroponic succulents with roots

Complete Guide to Flower Growing

1. Prepare a transparent glass bottle: A gourd shape or one that is narrow at the top and wide at the bottom is convenient for holding the succulent at the upper opening; a transparent container makes it easy to observe the root condition;

2. Choose a healthy and intact plant:

After taking the soil-grown succulent out of the pot, rinse it clean with water, cut off the old roots, leave about 3~5cm of new roots, soak the roots in a carbendazim solution diluted 2000 times for disinfection, then place it in a cool, ventilated place to dry for about 1 week.

3. Add water and put it in the bottle:Pour more than half of the tap water into the glass bottle, then put the prepared succulent in, so that part of the roots can touch the water.

Complete Guide to Flower Growing

1. Choose a vigorously growing succulent plant, cut off the top, and place it in a cool place to dry; after about 5 days the wound can heal.

2. Pour about 1/3 water into a narrow-mouthed transparent bottle, with the water level close to the bottom of the succulent but not touching it.

3. Place the succulent in a ventilated place with scattered light for care, and it can root in about 1 week. Gradually increase the amount of water according to the root condition.

4. Roots induced by water are relatively weak. After rooting is stable, it can be transplanted into potting soil for growing; when potting, first put a little soil in the flowerpot and pile it into a small cone shape, spread the roots apart and fill them in, then gradually add soil around it.

Key care points

Complete Guide to Flower Growing

1. Ventilation:Indoor hydroponic succulents must maintain air circulation, increase the oxygen in the water, and promote the succulent's metabolism!

2. Foliar topdressing: On a sunny and windless day, spray 0.15% potassium dihydrogen phosphate on the leaves in scattered light to promote leaf growth.

3. Root pruning:When the succulent's roots grow too many and too dense, prune them, because the nutrients in the bottle are limited, and insufficient supply will affect plant growth.

How is it? Isn't hydroponic growing very simple?

Flower lovers no longer need to worry about succulents rotting their roots!
