Hyacinths always rot? Do this one step before planting and they will keep growing

Hyacinths are arguably among the most beautiful flowers, with vivid colors and a rather distinctive shape, so today Huahua will teach everyone how to plant hyacinths!
To grow a hyacinth well, you first need to choose good bulbs. I suggest buying from a relatively reputable seller. Also, after buying them, we can measure the size of the bulbs, because this directly affects the flowering quality. Generally, a bulb of around 18 cm is fine; if it is too small, it will be relatively difficult to grow!
After receiving them, we also need to give them a simple treatment, with the focus on the roots. As for the outer skin, you can decide according to your own preference; mainly, whether you keep it or not has no effect on the bulb. When cleaning, we must be careful to gently scrape with a non-sharp tool, avoiding damage to the position where it grows roots, and even more so, do not clean it too thoroughly!
After treating them, we should soak them in a potassium permanganate solution for half an hour. Try not to put the whole thing in; it only needs to cover the roots. Remember, the concentration must not be too high. After taking it out, we should first put it in a cool, ventilated place to dry, preferably for about a week, otherwise if the moisture does not evaporate completely, it will directly cause rot later.
After drying, it can be planted. The soil requirement for hyacinths is that it must not retain water; it is best if the proportion of granular soil is a bit higher. In short, as long as the soil has good air permeability, everything else is flexible. After planting, pour in an appropriate amount of water, and it is best to place it in a ventilated spot on a north-facing balcony. Because hyacinths are bulbous plants, you must control your hand when watering, otherwise it will directly cause rot. Just water again after the potting soil has dried completely!
Or we can use the water culture method directly. Nowadays more people like to use water culture because it is both clean and convenient. We place the bulb in a water culture bottle, and the water level is best kept at a distance of 1.5 cm from its roots. Its roots will come out on their own to seek water. If it is soaked in water, it will instead be more prone to rot. After the roots grow out, appropriately lower the water level. Because it has just been potted, we should first place it in a shaded, ventilated place for about half a month, or we can wrap the bottle body with some paper.
There is no need to change the water for hyacinths too frequently. If the water is not cloudy, you do not need to change it. When changing the water, also be careful: after roots have grown, gently lift it without taking it completely out of the bottle, and just let the water pour out smoothly. It is best not to touch its roots. Also, after changing the water, wipe clean with a paper towel any places on the bottle wall and bulb surface where there is water. Do not leave water marks, because in that position the moisture cannot evaporate and it will easily become smelly.
After the shading period has passed, it is time to increase sunlight, so that it will not become leggy or fail to bloom.
