Only with this little pool of water does it really feel like summer

What pairs best with summer? A little pool of water, of course! With just a small puddle of water, it feels like summer!
A tiny pond planted with aquatic plants
gives the whole summer a different kind of vitality
For many people, a pond might be a bit too big
then a small water basin is definitely right for you

Brick-lining method
Materials: a basin/pot/stone trough... (size and texture are up to you); N bricks/stones (you know where to find them); your beloved plants; and anything you want to add, you know...
In theory, any container that can hold water
can be transformed into an ecological "small pond"
[If you have a yard]
Tools and materials: shovel, trowel, rubber hose, wooden boards, pond liner (also called anti-seepage mat), sand and gravel, bricks, landscape rocks, fountain pump, etc.
Step 1: Dig the hole
The shape is up to you
and how big your yard is
Of course, to do it properly, you need to fully consider what depth the future fish and aquatic plants will need. Too deep or too shallow is not suitable. To make the liner fit more tightly against the bottom, you can lay down sand or newspaper
Step 2: Lay the liner
To ensure the later effect and quality, try to complete this step patiently, laying the liner little by little, keeping it clean, and making sure it fits tightly against the surrounding area
Step 3: Add a little water
Add a little water and begin the wrinkle-fixing work. Still try to smooth out the liner and press it tightly against the surrounding area. The bricks on top should also be arranged properly, so that when the water level is raised it can cover the bricks, and no one will notice the liner is there
Step 4: Install the fountain
Place the pump in position, then run the line along the bottom, coming out through the gaps between the bricks, trying to make it as perfect and natural as possible. Don't worry about water leaking through the brick holes. Enclose the outer wall of the bricks with wooden boards to serve as a barrier between the liner and the soil, then fill with soil. For safety's sake, you can choose to fix the bricks with cement
Step 5: Decorate with landscape rocks
All kinds of stones, use your imagination, any combination is fine, but safety first. Putting some pebbles at the bottom of the pond gives it more of a feel!
Wait 24 hours to let the water fully purify, and also to give the stones and sand time and a chance to make final adjustments. Then add your plants, beautify the surroundings a bit more, and wait at least 2 days before adding fish, so the fish have a better chance of surviving
If you find it a bit too complicated
