Echeveria 'Luna' is a succulent of the genus Echeveria in the Crassulaceae family
The white leaves of Echeveria 'Luna' have no translucent edges, and the leaf margins are fairly rounded; under strong light, a lovely pink appears at the tips of the leaves. The leaves are smooth, and if the leaves do not come into contact with water, after a long time a slight white powder will form on them, making them look extremely lovely. The flowers of Echeveria 'Luna' are red-pink, bell-shaped, with the same flower form as ordinary Echeveria.
After temperatures rise in spring, you can gradually resume normal watering. In this respect it is still the same as the habits of Echeveria 'Lilacina': among the four seasons, only summer requires attention to shading; in all other seasons it can receive full sun.
For Echeveria 'Luna', once summer temperatures exceed 35 degrees, it needs to be cut off from water and go dormant. During dormancy it should be kept in a cool, ventilated place; if it is too hot, the plant may easily die. Once the temperature is above 32 degrees, move it to bright, indirect light and slowly begin withholding water. Throughout dormancy, give little or no water. By mid-September, when temperatures drop, start restoring watering.
In winter, if the temperature can stay above 0 degrees, you can still give water; below 0 degrees, watering must be stopped, otherwise the plant may easily suffer frost damage. Although winter is cold, it does not mean giving no water at all for the whole season; at appropriate times you can also give a little water slightly at the base of the plant. Never mist or give a large amount of water, as water lingering too long in the center of the leaves can easily cause rot.
The soil mix should be mainly breathable, primarily by controlling the size of the soil particles, which helps with aeration. The main propagation methods for Echeveria 'Luna' include leaf cuttings or beheading.
