Add a little something that costs nothing to the snake plant's pot, and it won't rot roots and will grow thick and tall

If you want your snake plant to grow vigorously, how can you do without this? It costs nothing, and it sprouts new shoots like crazy
The snake plant (Sansevieria) is really a fairly tough green plant. It has very low soil requirements, and both alkaline and acidic soil will do, as long as the acidity or alkalinity is not too severe.
The snake plant's only soil requirement is that it be loose and breathable, with good drainage. This is because the snake plant's root system is not very developed and needs to drain excess water in time. Otherwise, prolonged waterlogging will damage the roots. The snake plant's stem is a horizontal rhizome, and there is no stem above ground; the lateral shoots all sprout from the rhizome, and soil that stays wet for a long time is also bad for the branching of lateral buds.
When mixing soil, add river sand! You can use garden soil and river sand in a 1:1 ratio and mix them evenly; you can also use leaf mold or peat soil, add river sand, and mix evenly. Soil mixed this way drains water in time, does not waterlog, and will not compact, which helps the roots stretch out and breathe, and makes it easier for the lateral buds on the rhizome to push through the soil.
Soil in the north tends to be alkaline, and after the plant has grown for a while, the soil easily becomes severely alkaline, so every few months you can water it with a little ferrous sulfate solution, or change the potting soil once a year. Adjusting the acidity and alkalinity a bit will be more beneficial to its growth. If soil in the south becomes too acidic over time, you can water it with a little plant ash water to adjust it appropriately.
Growing flowers is a meticulous job; observe its condition more often and correct problems in time, and you can avoid a lot of unnecessary trouble. Your flowers will really love you!
