There are tricks to caring for gardenias; just add a simple drop of this, and it will bloom continuously and look absolutely beautiful

The gardenia plant is elegant, its flowers are pure white, and its scent is fresh and fragrant, making it deeply loved by many flower lovers. Its blooming period is from May to July, and right now it is in full bloom. I wonder if your gardenia has bloomed?
Today, Huar will share some small tips to make it bloom nonstop, with flowers that are big and vibrant.
Gardenias prefer acidic soil. When they enter the blooming period, the roots absorb a great deal of nutrients, which can cause the soil's pH to become more alkaline. This affects the gardenia's nutrient absorption, slows its metabolism, and is not good for bud formation and blooming.
So you need to adjust the pH. Before watering the flowers, add 1-2 drops of edible vinegar to clean water, shake it well, and slowly pour it in from the edge of the flowerpot. Be careful not to pour it on the top, and watering once every ten days to half a month is enough.
If you want your gardenia to bloom more and bigger, besides changing the soil's pH, you also need to pay special attention to these 3 points:
1. Fertilizing
Gardenias like fertilizer, but during the blooming period you should reduce or stop applying nitrogen fertilizer and switch to phosphorus and potassium fertilizer. Once a week, you can apply some diluted cake fertilizer liquid, which can help it form buds and bloom better.
You can appropriately spray 0.1% potassium dihydrogen phosphate onto the leaves, which can make the leaves more emerald green and extend the blooming period.
2. Watering
Gardenias like a humid environment, and their blooming period is from May to July, when the weather is relatively hot and the air is drier, so you need to water them in time to keep the potting soil slightly moist. When you see signs of it turning pale, water thoroughly. In the morning and evening each day, you can spray some moisture onto the leaves to increase humidity and lower the temperature.
3. Light
During the gardenia's blooming period, it needs enough light, but it dislikes direct sunlight. You can move it to a relatively shady environment with scattered light for care, or build it a sunshade with a shading rate of about 50%, which will help it form buds and bloom better.
That's all for gardenia care. If flower lovers have other additions, you can share them with everyone in the comments section below. If you want to learn more about flower care, you can follow Huahua Fairy!
