Spider plants are a very common flower in our lives, with particularly high ornamental value. Placed in a higher spot at home, their branches hang down, beautiful as a green waterfall, very lovely, and spider plants can also purify the air. However, sometimes when we grow spider plants, we find that the leaves always end up bending, and we often fail to get it right. Below are a few tips to keep spider plant leaves from bending.

1. Spider plant leaves bending caused by too little light

If a spider plant is placed in a dark spot for a long time, it will affect its growth, and after a slightly longer time it will turn yellow directly. So at this point, let the spider plant receive light for a period of time, but be careful not to let it get direct sunlight at noon; receiving light in the morning and evening is enough.

2. Spider plant leaves bending caused by non-breathable soil

When growing spider plants, non-breathable soil easily leads to water accumulation, which affects the growth of the spider plant's root system and prevents it from breathing normally, so root rot occurs, and this causes the spider plant's leaves to bend and even turn yellow. So when watering normally, be careful to do it in moderation; do not water too much or too often. Just water an appropriate amount according to the season and other factors.

3. Spider plant lacking nutrients

If a spider plant has not been fertilized for a long time, or has not been fertilized enough, it easily becomes nutrient-deficient and cannot carry out normal metabolism, so the leaves bend and wilt. So during normal care, properly fertilize the spider plant at regular intervals. Never let the spider plant lack fertilizer, but do not apply too much either, as too much will also cause bad results.

If you find that the spider plant is really very soft, you can cut off the soft leaves. After cutting, care for it well, and after some time it will have new leaves, and will actually grow even better. Once it has grown sufficiently, place it in a sunny spot for care, and it can grow especially vigorously, lush and green.
