My husband spent a whole day hauling a cartload of wood and stones around the garden, drawing a crowd of curious neighbors

First use a shovel to roughly draw a line, which is the general direction of the path

Roughly lay it out first, then secure it initially

Someone is working earnestly

Half done...

What a beautiful curve... Looking from the direction of the garage, from another angle

This last turn was a stroke of inspiration, an unexpected gain. There was one extra post left over. My husband said to cut it shorter, but I couldn't bear to, so we turned it to the right along the garage door, and it actually produced a rather nice effect. It formed a curve that looks like a flower bed, and also blocked the soil in front of the garage door...

Back to the main entrance to look at the garden..

Start laying the pebbles

Continue paving the path

The finished effect

A photo of the neighbors peeking

Went upstairs and took a few more overhead shots

Clearly there aren't enough pebbles...

With my temperament, I'd be ready to head straight to Xinqiao to buy stones

My husband won't cooperate... If he doesn't drive, I can't go anywhere...

Finished

I absolutely love this fir post and pebble path... I really want to tear up our concrete path!
