Don't throw away 5 kinds of kitchen waste; bury them in flower pots and the leaves will be glossy green and the flowers will bloom profusely

The thing you can least do without when growing flowers is fertilizer. When flowers lack fertilizer, the leaves turn yellow and there are few blooms. Applying fertilizer at the right time can make flowers bloom better, but most flower growers probably never go out of their way to buy special flower fertilizer, and they often complain that their flowers do not grow well. Today, I will share some homemade flower fertilizer methods with everyone. Use them on your flowers and they will bloom like crazy.
1. The least troublesome: aquarium water
Generally, homemade flower fertilizers need to be fermented or decomposed before use. For those who do not want to put in the effort, the water from changing an aquarium is just perfect. It contains fish droppings that have broken down in the water over a long time into a very mild fertilizer. It is perfect for watering foliage plants such as pothos, and using it once every 1-2 weeks is enough.
2. Soybean water
After the water used to boil soybeans cools, it can be used directly to water flowers. Cooked soybeans can also be fermented and then turned into an organic fertilizer rich in nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. It can be used as a base fertilizer placed at the bottom of a flower pot, or diluted with water and used as a liquid fertilizer. Diluted and used to water flowers, it works very well and can make flowering plants produce more blooms. The only downside is that soybeans smell quite bad when fermenting.
3. Fermented fruit and vegetable peels
Leftover vegetable leaves and all kinds of fruit peels can be said to be the most abundant waste produced in a household every day. Collect them, chop them up, and put them in a large vat. Layer soil and fruit and vegetable peels one after another, then add some rice washing water. Cover the top layer with garden soil and seal it to ferment for about half a year, and it becomes a very good flower fertilizer.
4. Rice washing water
Everyone knows that rice washing water can be used to water flowers. Most people use it directly, but using unfermented rice washing water for a long time can easily cause soil compaction. Now in summer, you only need to put the rice washing water into a mineral water bottle, add a little yogurt, and leave it in the sun for a week to finish fermenting. When using it, dilute it with clean water and water the flowers with it.
5. Beer
People drink a lot of beer in summer. Sometimes what is left after opening a bottle should not be wasted. It is a perfectly good material for growing flowers. It can be diluted directly with clean water at 1:50 and used to water plants, or sprayed on the leaves of various foliage plants as a foliar fertilizer, which can make foliage plants such as pothos have glossy green and thick leaves.
Fellow flower growers, what other good fertilizers have you used? You are welcome to share and discuss your better care experience together.
