Rescued an Unidentified Flower Root from the Trash Bin, Grew It for 2 Months and It Bloomed into a Stunning Flower

When you go out for a stroll, you can always come across good things. There are often discarded flowers and plants beside trash bins, and every time you come back you have a harvest. By chance, I picked up a flower root. At first, I did not recognize what it was. 2 months later, the flower it bloomed into was truly stunning!
By the way, I dug some soil from the garden and brought it home, re-mixed the soil, planted the flower root into the soil, watered and fertilized it normally, and placed it in the sunlight. Unexpectedly, 2 months later, the flowers it produced rivaled peonies. It turned out to be the legendary Chinese peony (Paeonia lactiflora), said to be comparable to the tree peony!
The flowers of the Chinese peony are as big as a bowl's mouth, and they are very vivid, gorgeous and beautiful. The flower shape resembles a tree peony, but the Chinese peony is much easier to grow than the tree peony. During these two months, I did not take care of it much at all, yet it grew so vigorously, blooming continuously.
Let me also share the care method:
Soil
Use vegetable garden soil plus leaf mold, add a small amount of coarse sand, and also put in some organic base fertilizer. This way the fertility is ample, and both air permeability and drainage are very good, suitable for its growth!
Watering
The Chinese peony is relatively drought-tolerant. Water only after you find that the soil has completely dried out. Never water only halfway; water thoroughly each time, using water seeping from the tray as the standard. You can do this once every 3 to 5 days, and when the weather is hot, spray water on the leaves to maintain humidity.
Fertilizing
Because organic base fertilizer was placed in the soil, I only sprayed potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution at the bud stage, spraying 2 to 3 times in a row. The flowers produced were big and vivid, very beautiful!
Light
The growth of the Chinese peony cannot do without light. Only under sufficient light will it grow with lush branches and leaves and produce big, beautiful flowers. You can place it on a south-facing balcony, and when it is hot at noon, just pay attention to shading it.
A potted plant that is very easy to care for, with flowers as beautiful as the tree peony. Do fellow flower lovers like it?
