For beginners, the most important thing when growing flowers is choosing the right plants. Many flower lovers say they often end up killing their plants, but in fact, in many cases it is simply because they did not choose flowers that suit them. When you first start growing flowers, it is best to begin with easy-to-grow varieties, so that you can also build up your confidence.

1. Moss rose

Moss rose, also called "the undying," is very common in our rural hometowns. It reproduces by seed and is extremely tolerant of poor soil, thriving in ordinary soil. Moss rose is very easy to grow and is not afraid of wind, rain, or harsh weather. During normal care, be sure to provide plenty of light. After it blooms, the flowers close in the morning and evening and only open at noon, so it is also called the noon flower.

2. Kalanchoe

Kalanchoe is a succulent plant with a relatively high water content in its tissues, so it is fairly drought-tolerant and afraid of waterlogging, and it grows well in dry air. Kalanchoe is actually very easy to grow; as long as it gets good sunlight, it will grow quite well. After kalanchoe blooms, its ornamental value is very high. Its flowering period is around the Spring Festival, making it a very festive holiday flower.

3. Wax begonia

With proper care, wax begonia can bloom all year round, and its flower colors are brilliant while care is simple. Wax begonia also loves light very much; it only needs to be placed on a south-facing balcony or windowsill to receive plenty of light. During the growing period, keep the potting soil moist, and in summer just pay attention to shading and ventilation.

4. Viola

Viola is a perennial herbaceous plant that can generally bloom in all four seasons. After viola blooms, its leaves are as beautiful as butterflies. Viola can also purify the air, so it is also quite suitable for growing indoors. Caring for viola is relatively simple; it only needs more sun, the potting soil must not be too wet, and water should be controlled appropriately.
