This flower blooms 300 days a year, with 20 flowers per stem, making it the top choice for indoor potted plants

Chinese roses, gardenias, camellias, asparagus ferns, clivia, Christmas cacti and so on are all common flowering potted plants, and keeping these pots year after year can get boring, so why not try this flower, which can bloom 300 days a year, with 20 flowers on a single stem, beautiful and impressive, easy to care for, and the top choice for indoor potted plants. Let's take a look together below!
The flower I'm sharing with you today is called the prairie gentian (Eustoma grandiflorum, also known as lisianthus). It originated in the United States and is one of the most popular potted and cut flower varieties today. Its blooms are very distinctive, coming in single colors and bicolors, as well as single and double forms.
Its flowers are gorgeous and elegant, impressive and beautiful, and it produces an especially large flush of blooms at once, with multiple flowers per stem, sometimes reaching more than 20, giving a highly ornamental effect and decorating a home extremely well, making it the top choice for indoor potted plants.
The prairie gentian is also very easy to care for. It likes a warm, sunny, ample environment, is fairly drought-tolerant, and does not tolerate waterlogging. In summer, keep it in a spot with plenty of light and good ventilation, and water it once every 2 to 3 days, watering thoroughly each time, not just halfway.
Also, let tap water sit for two days before using it, so the bleaching powder can settle out and the chlorine can evaporate, preventing the soil from compacting and affecting the prairie gentian's normal growth.
When buds are forming, you can spray it with common monopotassium phosphate solution or bury other slow-release compound fertilizer in the soil; either way provides it with plenty of nutrients, helps it bloom, and increases the number of flowers.
That's all for today's sharing!
Isn't the prairie gentian just beautiful?
