Today I will show you how to grow potted plants from lychee seeds. In summer we can eat many varieties of lychee, but if you want to grow a lychee potted plant, it is best to choose some plump and full varieties, and it is best to choose some fresh lychees.

Lychee seeds can also grow into fresh and beautiful potted plants indoors, and when its stems and leaves first emerge they are tender red, giving them very high ornamental value. The growing method is also very simple, and beginners can do it too.

You can choose some plump varieties, remove the flesh attached to the seed, and after washing them clean you are ready to sow. You can prepare some loose, well-draining soil.

Prepare a container with a fairly large drainage hole. Do not choose too large a flower pot; if the pot is too large it easily causes waterlogging and root rot. The growing container must have drainage holes at the bottom. The care location should avoid excessive direct sun, and you can first keep it in a place with scattered light.

Do not worry about which side of the seed faces up; simply laying it flat on the soil surface is best. The plumper the seeds you choose, the higher the germination rate will be. For the soil, simply choose a 1:1 mix of peat moss and perlite, and these seeds can be placed directly on top of the soil.

The seed will gradually sprout from the brown part, and placing it this way is fine. After placing it, keep it in a bright, ventilated place. The soil should stay moist, and you should also pay attention to maintaining a certain level of air humidity. These seeds can be pressed directly into the soil, with just a little soil covering them.

After planting, water thoroughly. During sowing, keep the soil slightly moist and avoid it becoming too dry, but the soil must not be waterlogged either. Keep the growing temperature at around 22°C to maintain a warm and humid environment.

The seeds can also take root and sprout if simply dropped onto the soil. After two or three weeks, they will slowly grow red leaves. When the seedlings emerge they are red, and the leaves will gradually turn green.

Lychee is a delicious summer fruit. Do not throw away the seeds after eating them; growing them into potted plants is also a good choice.
