Flower-giving etiquette: mostly grown in large pots, with the support wrapped in satin ribbon, the pot wrapped in thin wrapping paper, and a satin ribbon tied on to add a sense of splendor.

Origin of the flower name: the petals curling backward is an important characteristic, and the flower name comes from the Latin meaning of "astonishment" and "beauty." The wavy petal margins display a beauty that transcends reality.
