Succulent leaves root as soon as they are stuck in the soil, and before you know it, a whole big pot has burst forth

Cuttings are the most commonly used propagation method for succulents, with leaf cuttings, stem cuttings and root cuttings being the common ones. What we are talking about today is leaf cuttings: simply place the plump, thick leaves correctly on a sand bed and they will take root. Let's go over the specific steps below!
Succulent leaf cutting method:
Leaf cuttings are generally taken in spring and autumn; at this time they root easily and have a high survival rate.
(1). Select healthy leaves and gently twist them off directly with your hand, then put them in a cool, ventilated place to dry for 3~4 days until the wounds have dried.
(2). Prepare the growing medium; for leaf cuttings, a propagation soil is generally used, and you can mix peat with perlite to make the soil.
(3). Lay the dried leaves flat on the soil, or you can insert the tail end of the leaf diagonally into the soil, and keep them in a cool place for care.
(4). Do not water leaf cuttings; just mist them, keeping the soil surface moist. In a dry environment with good ventilation, you can mist once or twice a day, but avoid spraying the leaves.
(5). They generally take 1~2 weeks to grow roots, and once the roots have grown they will sprout. Remember to mist during this period.
