Remember these few points when growing hydrangeas, and the flowers will bloom big, beautiful, and nonstop

Hydrangea is also called eight-immortal flower, seven-change flower, pink cluster flower, and several other names. Its flower color changes according to the pH of the soil, which is a bit magical. The blooms are large and brilliantly colored, in several colors, very beautiful. I planted two colors of hydrangea in flowerpots on the balcony, and right now it is the peak blooming season. How should hydrangeas be cared for so they bloom abundantly and grow vigorously?
The flowers are much bigger than a palm
1. Prune away overly dense branches, leggy branches, and already withered branches in time, so that the vigorous branches have sufficient nutrients to fully develop flower buds.
Pruning branches
2. Repot into a larger pot when it is time to size up, and change the soil when it is time to change the soil, because hydrangeas grow very fast. After a year or two, the plant gets bigger and bigger and the nutrients are not enough, so you need to move it with its old soil into a somewhat larger pot and add fertile soil rich in humus.
The flowerpot must not be too small
3. Fertilize in time. Hydrangeas like heavy feeding, so every two weeks, water once with organic fertilizer water, whether it is cake fertilizer water or chicken manure fertilizer, either is fine. I use shrimp shells, fish scraps, fruit peels plus soil, placed in a sealed bucket to make homemade organic fertilizer, and it will grow faster and more lush. If you have ferrous sulfate at home, mix it with water at 0.2% and water once to promote big, brightly colored flowers.
Top-dress in time
4. Do not forget to water, because in the peak growing season the leaves grow abundantly and the water demand is high. Do not wait until the leaves wilt and the branches droop before watering; water immediately once the soil is dry.

5. Maintain sufficient light. Apart from shading in summer, give it plenty of sun in the other seasons. If it is placed in a spot with insufficient light for several months in a row, the branches will become leggy and the flower buds will decrease.
Ensure sufficient light
Remember the above points, and the hydrangea will bloom big and beautiful, one flower after another. Give it a try, it is quite easy to grow.
