Grow hydrangeas this way for lush branches and leaves and nonstop blooms, each flower bigger than the last

Hydrangea is also known as eight-immortals flower, seven-change flower, pink-ball flower and several other names. Its flower color changes according to the pH of the soil, which is a bit magical. The blooms are large and brightly colored, in several colors, very beautiful. I planted two colors of hydrangea in flowerpots on my balcony, and right now it is the peak blooming season. How should hydrangeas be cared for so they bloom abundantly and grow vigorously?
1. Prune away overly dense branches, leggy branches and already withered branches in time, so that the strong branches have enough nutrients to fully develop flower buds.
2. Repot into a larger pot when it is time to repot, and change the soil when it is time to change the soil, because hydrangeas grow very fast. After a year or two, the plant gets bigger and bigger and the nutrients are not enough, so you need to move it with the old soil into a larger flowerpot and add fertile soil rich in humus.
3. Fertilize in time. Hydrangeas like heavy feeding, so every two weeks, water once with organic fertilizer water, whether it is cake fertilizer water or chicken manure fertilizer. I use shrimp shells, fish scraps and fruit peels plus soil, placed in a sealed bucket to make my own organic fertilizer, and it will grow faster and more lush. If you have ferrous sulfate at home, mix it with water at 0.2% and water once to promote larger and more vividly colored flowers.
4. Do not forget to water, because in the peak growing season the leaves grow plentifully and the water demand is high. Do not wait until the leaves wilt and the branches droop before watering; water immediately once the soil is dry.
5. Keep sufficient light. Apart from shading in summer, give it plenty of sun in the other seasons. If it is placed in a spot with insufficient light for several months in a row, the branches will become leggy and the flower buds will decrease.
Remember the points above, and your hydrangeas will bloom big and beautiful, one flower after another. Give it a try, it is quite easy to grow.
