Cyclamen growing tips: learn this one trick to quickly fill a pot

Sowing propagation: collect the seeds, soak them, and plant them in a pot; keep them moist and they will germinate in 40 days. Tuber division propagation: cut the tuber lengthwise from the top into small pieces, each must contain a bud eye, then let them dry and plant them in a pot. Tissue culture: select part of its explant, induce it with hormones to grow small plantlets, then plant it in a pot.
1. Sowing propagation
First, collect its seeds. Be careful to select plump and healthy seeds. Freshly picked seeds may contain more moisture, so we can dry them in the shade for 3 to 4 days, then dry them in the sun. It is best to sow the seeds after the Start of Autumn and before Minor Snow. Before sowing, soak the seeds in water for about one night. Then plant the soaked seeds into the prepared potting soil and water them thoroughly. After that, keep the soil moist and give it an appropriate temperature; they will germinate in about 40 days.
2. Tuber division propagation
This propagation method requires us to cut the pieces ourselves. The time is generally in late August, because at this time the tuber is about to sprout. We need to cut the tuber lengthwise from its top into several small pieces. Note that each small piece must contain a bud eye, and plant ash should be applied to the cut surfaces for sterilization. Then put it in a cool place to dry, and after that it can be planted into a pre-prepared pot. As long as you care for it patiently, it will soon grow leaves.
3. Tissue culture propagation
We can select its young stem or flower stamen as an explant from a plant that has already grown for 1 to 2 years. Then use hormones to induce it to grow small plantlets; among these, the stem tuber is the easiest to induce. If a stem tuber is selected as the explant, then we can use MS medium. After the small plantlets grow, first let them gradually receive light, then plant them into pre-prepared potting soil and give them a suitable environment; they will soon grow leaves and bloom. However, this method is not very practical for households, so we usually choose the first two methods.
