Cymbidium finished blooming? Don't throw it out! Change the soil, water it, add a little something, and flower spikes will shoot up all over the pot

Step-by-step flower growing
Repotting a Cymbidium is actually very simple. Cymbidiums are usually bought already in bloom, and after they finish flowering, poor care makes it hard for them to bloom again the next year. Xiao Qi has grown them before, and getting them to rebloom is easy. If you do what Xiao Qi says, I guarantee you'll have a fantastic bloom the next year.

When repotting a Cymbidium, the soil mix must be loose and airy. You can use fermented granules like bark or peanut shells. Mix in some leaf mold or peat soil, then lift the whole Cymbidium out of its pot. Place it into a pot one size larger. Check whether its roots have any rot. If there is rot, cut off the rotten roots, apply carbendazim, and repot it. Never use a small pot to plant it. If the roots aren't rotten, try not to disturb the original soil and just place it directly into a new, larger pot. Fill soil around the edges and press it firm. Water it thoroughly right away, and place it somewhere it can get light before 9 in the morning, or light after 4 in the afternoon, for care. With ventilation morning and evening, mist it daily or splash water on the ground to maintain air humidity.

During this period, be sure to keep the potting soil moist. Ventilation must be good. When you see new leaves start to grow, or new shoots emerge, gradually increase the light for it. Until it can get light before 12 o'clock, that's fine. Every time you water, mix in a little nutrient solution or your own fermented fertilizer water, and the concentration must not be too strong. Just use a little each time you water. In summer, every time we water, use a little phosphorus and potassium fertilizer to promote flower bud differentiation and formation. By autumn, you'll clearly see many of its flower buds pushing up out of the soil. At this point, move it to a spot with even more abundant light.

In late autumn, the temperature difference is fairly big. Never put it somewhere with a constant temperature; be sure to create a large temperature difference for it. After about a month, when winter comes we can move it straight indoors. Then it will bloom normally, flower spikes shooting up rapidly, and it will bloom beautifully around Spring Festival!

If a Cymbidium isn't grown well, it's hard to get it to rebloom after flowering. Actually, you're all overcomplicating it. Follow this method and I guarantee it will bloom just as well the next year. The blooms are big and vivid, the flowering period is long, and getting a pot bursting with flowers is especially easy. Try it if you don't believe me.
