Ivy grows lush and covers the wall; if you can't keep flowers alive, grow this instead

To make ivy grow fast, choose good soil, add a base fertilizer, and repot at the right time. The temperature should be suitable, around 25°C. Light should be moderate; scattered light is enough. In summer, place it in a shady spot, and keep moisture moderate so the soil is slightly moist. Fertilize reasonably, once every two weeks. In addition, prune the branches in time.
1. Soil and repotting
To make the plant grow fast, you must pay attention to the soil's nutrients. Choose soil rich in humus and add a base fertilizer to it, so that nutrient supply can be ensured. Repot about once every one to two years, and also add a base fertilizer.
2. Suitable temperature
Warmth is most suitable; specifically, around 25°C is fine. The temperature should not be too low, as that will inhibit growth. But it also must not be too high; above 35°C, the plant will stop growing and will also drop leaves.
3. Moderate light
Although the plant has fairly good shade tolerance, light is still needed to increase its growth rate. However, providing only scattered light is enough; it must never be too intense. Place it in a bright spot, and in summer choose a somewhat shady location.
4. Moderate moisture
If the plant is to grow fast, moisture naturally needs to be sufficient. But it cannot be excessive; do not let water accumulate, as too much will backfire. Just keep the soil slightly moist so the roots can absorb water. In summer, humidity also needs to be increased, for example by spraying some water.
5. Reasonable fertilizing
If the soil lacks nutrients, supplement them through fertilizing. In spring, the plant grows fastest and needs it once every two weeks. In summer, the frequency can be lower, about once a month.
6. Timely pruning
What mainly needs pruning are the branches that are too long and too dense, to increase light penetration and air circulation.
