The weather has been getting hotter and hotter lately, and summer is here. Many flower lovers have long since moved their plants outdoors for care, but you should be careful: when the weather is hot, your flowers can get heatstroke too. Below, let's talk about protecting roses from the heat.

Shade

In summer, because the temperature is relatively high, once the temperature turns to high heat, you need to pay attention to shading your roses. You can use a shade net to shade them, but you must also ensure they have ventilation.

Cooling down

When the weather is hot, the temperature of the rose pot will also be higher than usual. At this time, if no measures are taken, the roses will be damaged by the high temperature.

Use a larger flower pot, put the rose's pot inside it, and then fill the gap between the two pots with newspaper. This can temporarily block the heat for a period of time.

Sunshade board

If you have a sunshade board at home, you can use it to block the sunlight, and it can also achieve a certain cooling effect.

Parasol

When we go out normally, we use a parasol to block the sun, and this also applies to roses. If you really cannot be bothered to set up a sunshade board or nest the pots, you can also put a parasol over the roses.

Ventilation

Ventilation can let the roses feel a bit cooler. For roses being cared for on an indoor balcony, you can place a fan beside the pot, but note that the fan must not blow directly at the roses.
