Making a charming flower tower with terracotta pots: these flowers are the most suitable

Below I'll show you how to make a bright, charming and splendid flower tower using terracotta pots. Terracotta pots are my favorite containers for growing flowers: they are inexpensive, loose and breathable, and their drainage is also very good. They come in different sizes, and you can stack them up to grow a bright and charming flower tower.
A vertical flower tower saves more space and looks very unique. It can increase vertical growing space, and by planting some easy-to-grow, brilliantly flowering plants you can see bright flowers.
The terracotta pot painted with colored lacquer has Madagascar periwinkle planted on top.
First you need to prepare flower pots of different sizes, so that they can be stacked effortlessly, and you also need to prepare a slender steel rod or wooden pole.
Prepare some loose, well-draining sandy soil. The soil should have a certain fertility; it is best to use peat moss mixed with perlite, with some compost soil added appropriately.
Before assembling the flower tower, check whether the terracotta pots have drainage holes large enough. Only when the drainage holes are large enough can the wooden pole be inserted. Of course, you also need to choose a suitable location, because the flower tower is hard to move. It is best to place it in a spot with good ventilation, bright light, and plenty of sunlight every day. In hot summer, the soil in these terracotta pots dries out very easily, and you should also avoid placing it in a spot with excessive direct sun, otherwise the flowers can easily dry out.
If the temperature is relatively high in July and August, you also need to water once or twice a day to avoid long-term drought in the soil. The soil of plants grown in terracotta pots dries out especially quickly, so you can mix in some clay soil or peat soil to give it a certain water-holding capacity. Regular watering is very important.
First put soil into the largest pot, just level it, pass the wooden stick through the soil and place it in the flower pot. Finally, after placing this pot in a suitable position, it cannot be moved frequently. Then pass the second terracotta pot through the drainage hole from the top and slowly stack it up, after which you can add soil.
Finally, a very simple terracotta pot flower tower is made. The last step is to plant various flowers and plants. Because the planting area of this kind of tower is relatively small, it is more suitable to choose some short, easy-to-grow herbaceous plants.
It is best to choose plant seedlings for transplanting. There are not too many flower varieties suitable for cultivation; you can choose common flowering plants such as petunia, moss rose, and impatiens.
Of course, you can also choose to combine different flowers to create a better-looking effect. Taller flowers such as zinnia and sunflower are not very suitable.
You can choose two or three different varieties to combine, and you can also combine some hanging basket flowers, such as common flowering plants like nasturtium, ivy, and lobelia.
The maintenance location should have sufficient sunlight. Of course, if you choose to cultivate impatiens, you only need to choose a semi-shaded spot. This all depends on the different flowers you plant.
The plant grown on top is petunia. Petunia plants are short and can grow even in small flower pots. Their root system is also very short, making them suitable for pot cultivation.
You can also choose different flowers to combine, such as common flower colors like white, purple, and pink. If you are cultivating impatiens, you need to grow them in a shady place, where they only need appropriate scattered light every day to grow well. Note that the plants you use should not be too densely packed, otherwise it will affect later growth.
If you want these herbaceous plants to keep blooming, you still need to give a little fertilizer water regularly. In spring and summer, you can give a dilute organic liquid fertilizer once every two weeks, which will promote very good growth.
