This is another challenge of mine. It wasn't so much a fortunate coincidence as meeting a kindred spirit. A chance encounter introduced me to this magical organism, the succulent plant, like a mysterious creature from the planet Pandora, and I fell deeply into this colorful interstellar world of beautiful plants. Not to say my life has been colorful ever since, but it is another kind of life equation!

This is a new beginning, meeting new friends, a new way of life. Different people grow different succulents, and everyone's thoughts can be seen in the appearance and condition of the succulents they grow.

Everyone can see the beauty of a succulent at the start, but I disdain that, because at that time the halo belongs to its former owner. What you can do and what makes me praise you is how it changes after a year. That is when it truly blooms for you and it.

Vanity is a hobby of most succulent growers, including me. We want to hear others' praise, so why be stingy with your words of praise and put yourself in an awkward situation with others? Your attitude toward others is like holding up a mirror to yourself. If you smile at the mirror, the person in the mirror will smile sweetly back at you. Even if it isn't sincere, you still feel pleased looking at it, because no one dislikes a smiling face.

I often encounter people in some groups who clash with you. At first I got especially angry, but as I saw more of them, I realized those people are actually insecure. Why lower yourself to the level of pitiful people? Empress Zhen Huan said: Remember, never waste time or energy on people who aren't worth it, or things that aren't worth it.

Succulents are such wonderful things, but I've noticed they are gradually becoming more and more tied to money. Many succulent friends now care not about how to grow succulents well, but about how much money to spend on which succulents. Whatever is expensive is regarded as "beautiful", and those who own them are naturally dubbed "masters". So I want to say, I just love them, letting them come to me when they are at their cheapest, and letting them transform through rebirth!

Writing this, I realize everything I've said is negative energy! Maybe it's because I've been through a lot and seen too much. Of course, there is more beauty than negative energy! That is looking at the beautiful succulents in your heart! (To be continued)

Haha! Here's a selfie of me, of course, it's been Photoshopped! Over these years of growing succulents, my look has gradually changed too! Hahaha

The life of growing succulents is like a kaleidoscope of life. You will see a colorful life, all kinds of people, and the many facets of human existence!

After several years, thinking quietly, many succulent friends have lost their original intention in growing succulents. It's not growing succulents but showing off growing succulents. Buying many of one variety, buying expensive ones in large quantities, showing off, crowds gathering to praise, but after a year, how many of these succulents are left? Water blisters, conophytums, Dudleyas, you only see the glory of buying them, but never see the transformation afterward. Is this growing succulents? I really feel this is ruining them. This kind of "fun" tramples the lives of succulents with money and flattery. I truly despise it from the bottom of my heart!

Dear succulent friends, truly be a person who loves and grows succulents. Give them all your care. You have them, but each of them only has you. Treat every one that comes into your hands kindly.

When under your care a little baby becomes a perfect old specimen, that is when you are the "god" among friends. Share your succulent-growing experience, rather than showing off.

I love succulents! I love your beauty, ugliness, transformation, and joy year after year

Every time I travel back and forth between Tianjin and Beijing, there are unexpected surprises. This shows that time can produce beauty
