Super practical flower-growing tips, how many of them do you know?
Growing some flowers and plants at home can not only purify the indoor air but also beautify the home. However, when growing plants you need to master some tips, otherwise you will run into all kinds of problems. So here are a few flower-growing tips to help your flowers and plants grow better.
Light
Plants have different natures, so their light requirements differ too. Some light-loving plants can be given some sun at noon. Plants that do not demand much light can be given appropriate sun in the morning or evening. Shade-tolerant plants only need occasional light.
Water
Everyone knows it is best to water flowers and plants with rainwater or river water, but most people still use tap water to water their flowers. Tap water contains nitrogen, and using it to water flowers is not good for plant growth. So you must let tap water sit for about 2 days, and once the nitrogen has evaporated, you can water the plants with it.
Soil moisture
Many people cannot judge whether the soil is dry or wet when watering. In fact, when the soil color looks lighter, it means the soil is already dry. You can also tap the edge of the flowerpot with your finger: if the sound is rather dull, it means the soil is still fairly moist. If the sound is rather crisp, it means it is time to water.
Cuttings
There are many ways to take plant cuttings, and in fact you can also use the water propagation method. First choose a relatively sturdy branch, keep about 4 leaves on the branch, then find a bottle and fill it with clean water, insert the branch, and seal the bottle opening. After about a month, roots will grow.
