Lucky bamboo can be said to be one of the more popular varieties for growing flowers at home. Buy a bunch for 10-15 yuan, take it home and put it in a vase, and that's it. But many times we find that the lucky bamboo in the vase will start to show yellow leaves in at most one week. What should we do? How exactly can lucky bamboo be made to root quickly without yellowing leaves? Let me share with you the care tips for lucky bamboo.

1. Do not add too much water to the vase; one third is enough. If conditions permit, use well water or let tap water settle overnight before using it.

2. Before putting it in the vase, cut off part of the bottom of the lucky bamboo at a slant, preferably cutting at a slant at the position of two nodes.

3. Peel off some of the leaves at the bottom of the lucky bamboo so that when it is placed in the vase, all the leaves need to be exposed outside the mouth of the vase. After placing it, put it in a ventilated place with scattered light and wait for it to root.

Note: I have tried this many times personally. Before the lucky bamboo roots, do not move the vase, and do not change the water. When the water is low, just add water directly. After it has rooted and you find the water quality is polluted, then change the water. There is one more point: during the period in the vase, if the bottom leaves of the lucky bamboo turn yellow, do not worry. Just peel off the yellowed leaves at the bottom. It does not affect rooting. After rooting, it will grow some new leaves again.

In order to make the lucky bamboo grow better after rooting, it is recommended to add about 10 drops of hydroponic nutrient solution to the clean water to meet the growth needs of the lucky bamboo. However, in summer, adding nutrient solution is not recommended; just maintain it with clean water.
