Cat risks life and limb for meat, innocent potted plant suffers the consequences

Recently, my next-door neighbor has been drying cured meat, filling the whole area with the smell of it. Normally it is nothing to sniff at, but when you are hungry and catch a whiff, oh my, it smells absolutely amazing. Not only were all of us neighbors craving it, even the cat could not resist.

That day I came home rather late and happened to forget to pour out cat food for the cat. I only remembered when I was almost home, and I panicked, thinking the cat must be starving! Starving is not the problem, though. What I feared was that the cat would hold a grudge. Offend that little ancestor by accident, and for days on end it gives you attitude, which is maddening.

After rushing home, I found the cat was not even in the house? Where had this creature gone? Surely it had not run away from home? So, worried sick, I went out searching everywhere.

Unexpectedly, not far from home, I came upon this scene.

It nearly made me die laughing. There was this cat, feet on the potted plant, both little paws desperately clawing upward, but it just could not reach the cured meat above. The cat was so crazed with craving it was about to lose its mind.

Cat: In this life, have you ever risked your life for meat?

Potted plant: Have you considered how I feel? Who did I wrong? What did I do to deserve this?

You cannot really blame her for being greedy. It was mainly that she was so hungry and then caught this meaty aroma, which was truly mouth-watering.

Cat: In this life, have you ever risked your life for meat? Potted plant: Did I wrong you or something? So, what does everyone think about this?
