"She is my lemon. The ding-dong that knocks open the heart's door." The song "Lemonade" has been very popular lately, with a beautiful, fresh and sweet feeling of love. Lemonade moistens the intestines and relieves constipation, and has beauty and skincare benefits. Why not grow a lemon tree on your balcony with your own hands!

1. Choosing a potted plant

Whether you are in the north or the south, you can grow one or two lemon trees in a flower pot. Never buy lemon seeds just to save money, otherwise they will neither grow big nor bear lemons, and all your effort will be wasted

Therefore you must buy lemon seedlings that are more than three years old. Pay special attention: do not buy lemon seedlings that are currently in flower, otherwise it will be very difficult for them to bloom and fruit again after you plant them.

A newly bought lemon tree should be placed in a ventilated, shady spot, and you should wait one week before watering. Once the plant has taken hold, it can be moved to a bright spot and you can begin watering. You can also add nutrient solution to help the lemon seedling grow and develop. Once every half month is enough.

2. Care methods:

The plant must survive!

Soil: Put crushed stone or walnut shells at the bottom of the pot to prevent waterlogging and root rot

Water: Just water once every two days

Light: Keep it in full, ample light all day

Fruiting period: Care for it carefully; it has three flowering periods a year, and can set fruit in both spring and summer

Blueberry

Seeing sweet-and-sour, brightly colored blueberries, do you start to drool?

1. Choosing a potted plant

No matter where you come from, as long as you choose a suitable variety, growing blueberries well is a matter of minutes. Northern highbush blueberries are suitable for growing in the north, and southern highbush blueberries are suitable for growing in the south. Note that in the southernmost areas such as Guangdong, Fujian, Hainan and Taiwan, China, the temperature is too high and they are not suitable for growing blueberries

2. Care methods:

Soil: Leaf mold plus nutrient soil, then mixed with garden soil, with some acidic material added to create an acidic environment, is very suitable for blueberry growth

Water: When watering normally, add a little white vinegar; this suits blueberry growth.

Light: It does not like strong light, so just place it in a cool, ventilated spot. In winter it is best to keep it below 7 degrees Celsius, but the temperature should not be too low either.

Goji berry

1. Differences between north and south

Goji berries are cold-tolerant and are best grown in the north, where they bear a lot of fruit. They can also be grown in the south, but the amount of fruit is far less than in the north

2. Care methods:

Soil: Nutrient soil and humus-containing sandy soil mixed with garden soil, to prevent waterlogging and root rot; add decomposed base fertilizer at the bottom of the pot to provide ample nutrients

Water: In spring and autumn, water once every two days, just until thoroughly soaked. In summer and winter, control watering and give only a little water once the soil is dry

Light: Maintain sufficient light duration and light intensity, and in summer watch out for high temperatures.

Mandarin orange tree

1. Choosing a potted plant

Similar to lemon; in the north

it is hard for it to grow into a big tree, but as a potted plant this does not affect its fruiting

2. Care methods:

Soil: Mix nutrient soil, humus soil, sandy soil and garden soil, and add decomposed soybean cake fertilizer as a base fertilizer

Water: In spring, water diligently every day; from summer onward begin reducing the amount of water, and by autumn and winter control watering, watering only once the soil is dry

Light: Just grow it in a spot with diffused light
