Pothos is easy to care for, easy to grow and hard to kill. With proper care, its leaves will be big and green. Below are pothos care tips!

Pothos care tips:

1. Apply plenty of nitrogen fertilizer

If you want pothos to do well, adequate nutrients are key. Nitrogen fertilizer especially,

you can dilute 5~7 granules of urea in water, then use the diluted solution to water the plant. Spray the leaf surface once every 1~2 weeks; this supplements nitrogen fertilizer well and can make pothos leaves big and green.

What we usually call rice-washing water and fish tank water are excellent nitrogen fertilizers, and they are also very easy to obtain.

2. Secure the pothos

If you want pothos to grow upward, it is best to secure it, make a trellis, and let the pothos grow along the trellis, continuously winding around it. It is best to first fix a relatively thick post in the middle of the flowerpot so the pothos vines can wrap around it; the higher it climbs, the bigger the pothos leaves become.

3. Reasonable lighting

Place the pothos in a spot indoors with bright light and good ventilation, and be sure to let it receive sunlight. In summer, when temperatures are high, take shade measures, otherwise the leaf surface will develop white and yellow spots, scorched edges, dry tips, or sunscald disease; let it receive light for at least two days each week.

4. Water appropriately

Water to keep the soil in a moist state, watering once every 3~5 days, and often use a spray bottle to spray water toward the leaves. It does not need excessive watering; too much watering will cause the pothos roots to rot.
