(Summary) The flowers that flower lovers keep at home are surely cared for meticulously, but there will always be places where care falls short. Every time a flower gets sick or looks listless and can't hold its head up, you feel terribly anxious. Want to know how to make a flower perk up instantly? Let Xiaobuyan tell you!

Many times when a flower gets sick and is about to wither and die, don't throw it away yet - just a few simple moves can bring it back from the dead!

Chinese rose

Chinese roses in all sorts of postures, blooming fragrantly and dazzlingly, are naturally the first choice for growing flowers. But the delicate Chinese rose can also develop many problems during care. Actually, the Chinese rose is beautiful but not fragile - ordinary yellowing and leaf drop are minor matters. Its vitality is very tenacious; as long as there is a trace of life, it will strive to grow!

1. Prune the branches

First, cut off all the dry, lifeless branches completely - remember, you must cut thoroughly. Leave only the branches full of vitality. Place the pruned Chinese rose in a cool, ventilated place, and remember to ensure at least half a day of sunlight every day. Water once every two days, and after a few weeks it will regain its vitality!

2. Change the potting soil

When the potting soil in the Chinese rose's pot becomes compacted and impermeable to air, you must replace it with a breathable mixed leaf mold soil, otherwise the flower will get yellow leaves and drop leaves. Place the flower in the exact center of the potting soil, about one fist's distance from the edge of the pot. After planting, place it in a ventilated spot with diffused light, and wait patiently for a few days.

3. Use dripping wax

Once a Chinese rose is bitten by insects, this method must be used. Because the insects are very small, there is no other way to remove them; if they crawl into the flower stem, it will be even harder to get rid of them.

First cut off the insect-damaged part, then drip wax on the cut surface to seal it, and the insects can't get in!

If you don't have a candle, you can likewise use clear nail polish.

4. The cutting method

Around summer, it is the best season for cutting Chinese roses. For the cutting potting soil, choose breathable, moist vermiculite mixed with sand.

First we select a flower branch more than ten centimeters long - it can't be too long or too short, and must have at least two bud nodes.

Finally we put it into the soil, water it thoroughly, and place it in a cool, ventilated place. Note that during the cutting process you can add a little rooting solution, which will make it grow faster!

Gardenia

Gardenia flowers are petite and fragrant, pure and white, with leaves that stay evergreen all year round. When you see them at the flower market, you can't resist buying them to grow at home, but all sorts of problems always come up. Now let's look together at how to deal with these problems!

1. Prune

The gardenia bought from the flower market has fertilizer nutrients in its potting soil, but these will gradually be used up by the gardenia, and some old leaves will start to turn yellow and drop. At this point we cut off the yellow leaves and some excess branches to reduce the loss of nutrients.

2. Watering method

When watering the gardenia, note that gardenias prefer acidic soil and are especially prone to iron deficiency. If their needs cannot be met, they will naturally lose their vigor.

The way to make it better is also very simple: we can add a little vinegar when watering. Just water once or twice a month with the vinegar-added water, and note that you must not water too much, otherwise it can easily corrode the flower.

When the gardenia is deficient in iron, we can use ferrous sulfate diluted with water to water the flower.

3. Prune the roots

If all the gardenia's leaves drop within a few days, then you must check whether the roots are rotten.

If the roots have already rotted, remove the rotted roots, rinse them clean with water, or use a carbendazim solution to kill the bacteria on the roots. After handling, place in a ventilated spot to dry, then replant.

4. Clean the roots

If all the gardenia's roots have rotted but its branches are still green, with a trace of life.

Cut out the flower branches that still have vitality and put them directly in water; in about a week they will take root. Note that the bottom of the branch should not touch the bottom of the bottle, otherwise it will hinder rooting. We can insert the gardenia into foam and let it float on the water surface.

Hydrangea

Hydrangea flowers have a full shape, large and beautiful, and their flower color can be red or blue, blooming in layered clusters pressed together, delightful to the eyes and refreshing to the spirit. But hydrangea is also a very delicate flower; during care it must be tended carefully, otherwise it will easily get sick and die.

But actually, when a hydrangea wilts, there are reasons for it. With just these few methods, you can ensure the hydrangea blooms beautifully and generously.

1. Prune the branches and leaves

When a hydrangea has just been bought from the flower market and has just left the high-temperature greenhouse for a dry home environment, it will quickly wilt. At this time, absolutely do not throw it away. Cut the branches and leaves shorter, water thoroughly, and place in a cool, ventilated spot to receive diffused light. Be careful to let the hydrangea receive even light.

2. Put a bag over it

When the temperature is unstable, the hydrangea can grow better only in a warm, moist place. Put a plastic bag directly over the hydrangea; it can both keep it warm and maintain humidity.

3. Prevent pests and diseases

Once a hydrangea gets sick, it generally shows on the leaves. Hydrangea leaves are very large - remember to observe carefully!

To treat yellowing leaves in hydrangea, you can use ferrous sulfate diluted with water and water it once or twice after the leaves turn yellow, or use alcohol diluted with water or garlic water to wipe the hydrangea leaves, cleaning away various bacteria and preventing disease.

4. Cuttings

If none of the above methods work, you can use cuttings. Choose a section of branch more than six centimeters long, cut off half the leaves to preserve nutrients. Place it in sandy soil, put it in a cool, moist place to receive scattered light, and gently spray water around the hydrangea every day to keep it moist. In about 20 days it will take root.

All kinds of flowers have different postures, and every flower lover also has their own favorite flowers. Take good care of them!
