How to care for succulents in winter? Remember these points for a safe winter

If succulents are to hibernate safely in winter, they also need to store plenty of nutrients in their bodies, so that next year they will grow more vigorously. After the beginning of autumn, succulents gradually slow down their activity and consume less and less water. Reduce the amount of watering to once or twice a week, and after the potting soil has truly dried out, water thoroughly once early in the morning the next day
As succulents grow slowly and plump up, change to watering once a week and just keep the potting soil slightly moist. It should not be too wet, otherwise it will cause root rot. After the beginning of autumn, increase sun exposure. If the midday sun is too strong, we can avoid midday to prevent scorching, and expose them in the morning instead. This will make the succulents grow more robust
In winter, when growing succulents indoors, it is still best not to water them. If a cold wave strikes, you can temporarily move the cactus indoors and take it out again when the weather warms up. When the nighttime temperature outdoors drops to 7°C, it is fine to move it indoors for the winter. This gives the succulents some extra cold resistance, and in this way they can generally spend the winter indoors safely, with no problem at all
