No need for reminders, surely everyone knows what day this Sunday is~ So, all you married folks (or those with partners), remember to prepare a surprise, and Huahua will be ready to be fed some dog food too! As for gifts, fresh flowers should be everyone's first choice, especially roses, whether 11 stems, 99 stems, 520 stems, 999 stems, 1314 stems... (quietly saying: all wealthy folks)

If you buy so many roses and don't handle them properly, they will wither right away, and just thinking about it feels like such a waste. So now Huahua will tell everyone how to handle the roses you bring home. Also, you can grow a pot of roses yourself to give to your other half, which will seem even more sincere!

What we usually buy are rose bouquets already wrapped by the flower shop. When bringing them home, we can choose not to unwrap them. Although the flower shop adds clean water inside the transparent paper, it is best to add a little more, and always watch the water level so it won't wilt from lack of water!

However, it is best to open the packaging and take the flowers out to put them in a vase, so the flowers can grow better. After taking them out, we need to first trim the roots with scissors. After all, a long time has passed, and bacteria have likely blocked the channel through which the roses transport nutrients, so we need to clean it up for them. When cutting, be sure to cut at an angle!

Then we can put the flowers in a vase filled with water. Try not to put it on a balcony or other area with direct sunlight, otherwise the roses will wither quickly. Also, change the water often. If the weather is hot, it is best to change the water once a day, and remember to trim its roots as well.

If you want to grow roses yourself, it is also quite simple. We can go to the flower market to choose healthy plants (at this time, don't buy ones that have already bloomed~). When buying, remember to check whether the leaves have disease or yellow spots, otherwise it won't be long before it says goodbye to you.

Roses like a warm growing environment. You can put it on a north-facing balcony, so you don't have to worry about its leaves turning yellow from the sun. Also, it cannot tolerate too much water, so never water it too frequently, otherwise it will easily cause the plant to rot.

Then there is pruning. Diseased branches and the like should be cut off in time, so that too many nutrients are not wasted, and it can also control the plant shape very well, greatly improving its appearance!
