Reasons and solutions for yellowing canna leaves
1. Transplanting
It relatively prefers a moist environment. If the environment it is in has extremely harsh sunlight and it is exposed to strong sun, the edges of its leaves may wither. In addition, if it is hit by dry, hot wind, the leaves may also turn withered and yellow. At this point, we need to transplant it to a relatively shady place.
2. Drying out the soil
If it has been watered too much, it is very likely to cause the problem in question. At this point, we should put it in a cool, well-ventilated place, which can remove the water in the soil, and its leaves will also return to normal.
3. Adjusting the temperature
When the environment it is in is at 40°C or above 40°C, the problem in question will also appear. This requires us to move it to a place with a relatively lower temperature.
4. Adjusting the water temperature
If it is watered with especially cold water in relatively hot weather, its leaves are also very likely to dry up. At this point, we should put it outside in the sun for a while, and pay attention to adjusting the water temperature when watering again.
5. Scientific fertilizing
If too much overly concentrated fertilizer is applied to it, it is very likely to cause its rhizome to rot, and the leaves will also wither. In this case, the soil should be flushed to wash away the excess fertilizer; if the situation is relatively serious, repotting is needed.
