Chinese roses come in a rich variety of cultivars, with beautiful blooms and diverse colors, and are known as "monthly red"; many people grow them. If you want Chinese rose flowers to bloom big and vivid, you need to master the care techniques for Chinese roses.

Chinese rose care techniques:

1. Apply phosphorus and potassium fertilizer

(1). Chinese roses bloom heavily and need timely supplementation of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer. Generally, you can bury some fresh fish guts or chicken and pigeon manure in the soil, but not too close to the roots.

(2). During the flowering period, apply monopotassium phosphate to promote blooming. Before the flowering period arrives and when it is about to begin, water with a monopotassium phosphate solution diluted 1500 times with water.

(3). During the peak growing season, apply a top dressing to Chinese roses once every 10 days, using decomposed and fermented fish juice or vegetable leaf juice, diluted evenly with water at a ratio of 3:7, then water the flowers.

2. Prune in time

(1). Chinese roses need to be pruned many times a year, which can encourage more blooms. After flowering, promptly cut off the spent flowers to prevent seed formation and nutrient consumption; timely pruning helps ensure new shoots sprout and concentrates nutrients.

(2). Leggy branches need light pruning to suppress them, keeping 4~5 buds, which allows the second flush of blooms to be beautiful and large.

(3). Cut off branches that are too dense or that overlap and cross, to promote ventilation and light penetration inside the plant.

3. Prevent pests and diseases

(1). Chinese roses are prone to pests and diseases, so prevention should be done in advance. You can use a mixed agent of carbendazim + imidacloprid + JINMANZHI and spray it on the Chinese roses, which can prevent and clear pests and diseases.

(2). For Chinese roses with disease, dilute the agent 1000 times with water and spray. To prevent disease, dilute it 2000 times with water and spray, once every 1~2 weeks.
