Growing plants is a very casual thing - you do it because you love it, and the process is simple and enjoyable.

So is it really good to grow plants in the bedroom? For people who love flowers and plants, of course it is - you decorate the bedroom and purify the air. What a great thing!

But you must choose the right plants, ones that are suitable. It is best to grow mainly evergreen foliage plants, not too many, just a few as a nice touch. Let's take a look at which ones:

1. Hydroponic plants

Hydroponic plants are relatively clean, without dust, bacteria, or little bugs, so they are very suitable for a pot in the bedroom. For example, hydroponic lucky bamboo and hydroponic pothos.

Pothos, with its slender branches hanging naturally around the vase, green leaves paired with pure water in a clean bottle, placed quietly in a corner of the bedroom, watching over happiness - isn't that beautiful?

Lucky bamboo, also called good-fortune bamboo, has delicate stems and leaves, soft and elegant, in all kinds of shapes. Placed on the bedroom balcony or anywhere else, it looks lovely.

When growing it, do not change the water too often, do not fertilize too much, give it a little scattered light now and then, and use a small amount of nutrient solution. Don't let it grow too fast, just keep it in good condition.

2. Cooling mint

Mint belongs to summer. At the mention of mint in summer, a wave of coolness comes through at once. Pinch off a leaf and press it to your cheeks and forehead to cool down and relieve heat; put it on your eyelids to relieve drowsiness and fatigue most effectively. Pinch off a leaf, put it in your mouth and bite it, and the coolness travels from your mouth to your heart!

What's more, it is very easy to grow. With plenty of water, moist soil, and good sunlight, it is enough to fill the pot!

Keep a pot by the bedroom window - not only is it attractive, it can also repel mosquitoes and insects. No need to fuss over it too much, just let it grow naturally. A glance at it now and then, whether intentional or not, is enough to feel the coolness!

3. Aloe

Aloe is a plant that combines beauty care, medicinal use, and ornamental value, and it is especially easy to grow. Its thick leaves can store a large amount of water, making it very drought-tolerant - it won't thirst to death even without water for a month - and it tolerates partial shade. It dislikes waterlogging. With fertile, breathable soil, just leave it be.

Keep one pot in the bedroom, no need to fuss over it too much, saving effort and worry, and it purifies the air. Very nice.

4. Evergreen

Evergreen has an especially good air-purifying ability. Its leaves are broad and emerald green, full of vitality, and evergreen through the four seasons. It is a nice touch in the living room, study, or bedroom.

To grow evergreen, keep the soil moist, loose, breathable, and well-draining, and add a moderate amount of fertilizer. That's all.

When caring for it, note that evergreen is toxic. Do not break its branches or leaves and touch them. As long as you do not touch the sap or eat it, it is harmless to the human body, and you can grow it with peace of mind.

There are many more plants suitable for growing in the bedroom. Spider plant, dumb cane, and others also have a good absorption effect on residual decoration pollutants; jasmine, violet, asparagus fern, and others have a certain sterilizing effect.

So, growing a few green plants in the bedroom gives fresh air and a strong body, no more insomnia from then on, and a healthy whole family. It's still a pretty good idea.
