If you have the heart, common varieties are actually very beautiful too. Every succulent is a witness to time and the years. It has nothing to do with value; only you understand your own succulents best.

I believe many succulent friends started by getting to know succulents through common varieties. From the beginner succulents used for practice at the start to today's high beauty, they have witnessed our journey of advancing in growing succulents. The beauty of common varieties lies in being ordinary and not delicate.Sedum rubrotinctum (Jelly Beans), this is one of my succulents that appears fairly often. I hope everyone is not tired of seeing it.A founding-member-level one. When I bought it, it was probably only one fifth of its current size. It is fairly cold-tolerant, and was once buried under snow for two years. Seeing how delicate it looks today, would you ever think of everything it has been through?

Another common variety, Graptopetalum mendozae (Maruba Hime Kogetsu). I probably got it around May Day in 2017. This is how it looked when I first bought it. Although it had a rough overall shape, the stems were clearly very tender.

To this day, this kind of transformation is also quite reassuring. It is just that I have never managed to grow it pink. There is still room for improvement!

Echeveria 'Yudie' (Jade Butterfly), I only picked it up this year. The price was not expensive. I took a liking to its thick trunk. This is all the accumulation of time.

Graptosedum 'Francesco Baldi' (Qiuli), also founding-member level. Its current condition is not the best. It keeps growing bigger and bigger.

Echeveria 'Hongzhilian' (Red Zhi Lian) - I like this shape of it.

I am fairly satisfied with the color of Pachyphytum oviferum (Dongmeiren).

Berry, it almost wiped out completely last summer.

Echeveria 'Indica' (Yindika), not easy to fade. A common variety worth having.

A wet-body photo of the common variety Echeveria 'Chihuahuaensis' (Jiwawa), hehe!

Echeveria 'Nüchu', from last August until now, without repotting, it has clearly grown quite a bit.

Echeveria 'Fiona', personally I think it looks better after being rained on.

Sedum 'Little Ball Rose', when it fills out the pot, its beauty is also fairly high.

Echeveria 'Onslow', looking at them, I am unwilling to leave for a long time, as if I myself have also become one of them. I really wish time could freeze at this moment. The years are quiet and good. I am willing to accompany them until old age.

Sedum pachyphyllum (Otome Kokoro), also on a pace of getting fatter and fatter.

When growing succulents, as long as you have a little more patience and a little more carefulness, and use your heart to perceive their needs, they can get better and better.
