My rose didn't get any pests for 2 years, and I never expected that tree leaves could actually kill insects

Although roses are beautiful, they are most prone to diseases and pests, whether it's red spider mites or aphids, and they can even get powdery mildew, which is really a headache! Maybe you just wiped out the aphids this week, and next week the red spider mites come again. Wouldn't you say that's miserable?
I heard from gardening friends that tree leaves can kill insects. This is the first time I've heard of it? I never expected it to really work. My roses went 2 years without pests. A good method should be shared with everyone. Let's take a look together below!
Willow leaves
Take fresh willow leaves, crush them thoroughly with a tool, add water, soak overnight, filter, and spray the affected areas. This can kill 85% of aphids and eggs, with no pollution, and the effect is excellent!
Oleander
Oleander also has a very wide range of uses. Take fresh oleander leaves, crush them thoroughly, soak them in clean water for two days, filter out the residue, and spray both sides of the affected leaves. Do this 3 to 5 times in a row, and the effect is excellent. It can effectively kill red spider mites and aphids!
In addition, collect fallen oleander leaves, compost them into nutrient soil, and mix it into flower pots. This can prevent powdery mildew on roses!
Ginkgo leaves
Ginkgo leaves contain toxins, and these toxins can sterilize and repel insects. There is a saying that goes, "Ants do not climb ginkgo trees," and that is where it comes from! Take fresh ginkgo leaves, crush them thoroughly with a tool, add water to make a solution, filter out the residue, and use it to spray the affected areas. It can kill red spider mites and aphids, and also has a repellent and preventive effect!
Chinese arborvitae
Pick fresh leaves, crush them thoroughly with a tool, filter out the residue with a strainer, then dilute with water five times to make a solution, and let it sit for two hours. It can kill aphids and eggs, and also has a preventive effect!
Besides the 4 kinds of tree leaves above that can kill pests, some other leaves can also work, such as peach leaves, tree of heaven, mulberry leaves, Chinese wingnut, and so on. The preparation methods are much the same, so I won't introduce them one by one here!
If the roses in your home also have pests and diseases, you can try this method. It is natural and pollution-free, and the effect is good too!
That's all for today's sharing!
