Tomorrow is the weekend, so today I'll share with you how to grow a money tree from seed. Maybe it doesn't grow very fast, but what we enjoy is the process of growing it and watching how it changes every day.

The money tree does flower and bear fruit, there's no doubt about that. Plant lovers who like money trees can buy a money tree seed online and try growing one themselves. Once it's grown, it will definitely feel more rewarding than a bought money tree.

How to sow money tree seeds:

1. Put the money tree seeds you bought out in the sun and dry them until they crack open, revealing the chestnut-like seeds inside

2. Wash the seeds clean, then soak them in clean water to encourage sprouting. Once the seed coat cracks and a small sprout emerges, you can take them out and plant them in soil (this takes about 4-6 hours).

3. Prepare loose, breathable potting soil and a flower pot of suitable size. Fill the pot with the soil, then use chopsticks to poke a few small holes. Put the money tree seeds in, press down gently, and spray with water

4. Then sprinkle a layer of small stones or maifan stone on the surface of the seeds, and cover with plastic wrap.

5. After about 2 days, the money tree sprouts will push through the plastic wrap (in this season you can also skip the plastic wrap)

6. Put it in a warm place with bright, indirect light, and spray water regularly to keep it slightly moist. You'll find the money tree grows better and better, even prettier than a bought one.

Plant lovers who are interested can give it a try themselves over the weekend!
