Put a little of this in the water of your hydroponic plants, and you'll never have to worry about root rot and yellow leaves again

The biggest fears with hydroponic plants are root rot and yellow leaves. If you can prevent these two problems, hydroponic flowers become much easier to grow. Here's how to keep hydroponic plants from getting yellow leaves and root rot.
Potassium permanganate
A potassium permanganate solution can ease root rot in hydroponic plants. If your hydroponic plants at home develop root rot, first trim away all the rotted parts completely, then add a few drops of potassium permanganate solution to the fresh water, mix it, and put the plant in. After some time, you'll see improvement.
Coarse sand
Many flower growers just put a bit of water and the plant in the bottle when growing hydroponic plants. This looks a little too plain. Adding some coarse sand can increase its ornamental value and also promote root growth in hydroponic plants. But don't add too much; about 3 cm of coarse sand is enough.
Fish
For hydroponic plants, the nutrients in the water are limited. If you don't add nutrient solution, they will likely stop growing due to a lack of nutrients. Keep one or two fish in the hydroponic bottle; the waste they produce is excellent fertilizer.
Charcoal
Charcoal has a very good adsorbing effect. If you're worried about root rot in your hydroponic plants at home, you can put some crushed charcoal in the water. Replacing the charcoal about once a month is enough.
Rusty iron nail
If your hydroponic lucky bamboo (Dracaena sanderiana) at home has yellow leaves, it's mostly because the water lacks iron. You can put a rusty iron nail in the water to provide iron, and the leaves will quickly turn green again.
Pills
Crush vitamin B12 or aspirin and mix it with water at a ratio of 1:1000 to make a solution, then drip a few drops into the water of your hydroponic plants. This can promote leaf growth and also help the plant root quickly.
