Why does a peace lily keep getting smaller? Here's why

These days, more and more people are growing peace lilies at home, but some flower lovers have recently reported that their peace lilies are getting smaller and smaller. What exactly is going on? I've summed up a few reasons. The first is improper watering. Peace lilies like water, so the potting soil must stay moist. Water once every two days. In summer and during dry spells, spray water on the leaves, and also sprinkle water on the ground around the plant.
The second reason is a lack of fertilizer. Because peace lilies grow fairly quickly, they naturally need more fertilizer. You can apply a decomposed liquid fertilizer once a month, then water with clear water the next day. During fertilization, loosen the soil appropriately, which helps the fertilizer be absorbed. Fertilizer must not be sprinkled on the leaves, as it will burn them.
During the growing period, peace lilies need the potting soil kept moist at all times, but they should not be given too much water, and there must be no standing water, otherwise root rot will occur. In summer and the dry season, spray water mist around the plant to keep the air humid. This is all very effective for the peace lily's development.
