Watering techniques for asparagus fern
(1). Watering asparagus fern should follow the principle of "water when dry, and water thoroughly when you do." That is, wait until the soil is completely dry and has turned pale, then water thoroughly. Watering this way keeps the soil moist without causing waterlogging, protects the roots, and avoids yellow leaves caused by improper watering.
(2). Asparagus fern likes a humid environment, and maintaining high air humidity helps it grow better; otherwise its leaves easily dry out and turn yellow. So you need to spray the leaves and surrounding area frequently to keep the air humid. In summer, generally spray water 1~2 times a day. In winter, when the soil is kept moist, spray water once every 3~4 days.
(3). Don't water asparagus fern directly with tap water; let the water sit for 1~2 days first before watering, and the water temperature shouldn't be too cold.
(4). For watering asparagus fern, generally in spring, water once every half a month. In summer and autumn, water once every 1 month. In winter, reduce watering, and you can water once every 45 days.
