Treat your Kalanchoe this way when it won't bloom, and it will produce over 100 flowers at once

Kalanchoe is not only an ideal potted plant for decorating the home, but also carries a beautiful meaning, representing lasting forever. Giving it to relatives and friends is also a very nice gift, and there must be plenty of people who love Kalanchoe!
If your Kalanchoe never blooms, be tough with it and give it a firm treatment, and it will bloom over 100 flowers at once, making all the neighbors envious!
Kalanchoe likes plenty of light, and you need to guarantee more than 6 hours of light every day for it to bloom smoothly. Kalanchoe also needs a large amount of nutrients to bloom. Many friends grow flowers out of hobby and love, and are not professionals. Some friends fertilize their plants blindly.
If too much nitrogen fertilizer is applied normally, it will cause the branches and leaves of the Kalanchoe to grow leggy. So many friends are very puzzled: the branches and leaves grow so luxuriantly, yet it just won't bloom, which is really maddening! That may be caused by too much nitrogen fertilizer being applied normally!
So when fertilizing Kalanchoe normally, it is recommended to divide it into two stages. During the growing period of Kalanchoe, focus on nitrogen fertilizer to promote the growth of roots and leaves; before flowering and bud formation, focus on phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, and stop applying nitrogen fertilizer. This can serve to supplement nutrients temporarily, promote flowering, and make the flowers more vivid.
If the branches become leggy, we can cover the Kalanchoe with a black plastic bag for 3 to 5 consecutive days, from 4 p.m. to 9 a.m. the next morning. Leave holes in the plastic bag for ventilation. After this treatment, the vast majority of Kalanchoe plants will bloom.
If the Kalanchoe still has not bloomed after following the methods above, you can also cut off its head (if there is a better method, you do not have to behead it), letting it sprout and grow branches and leaves anew. When the leaves grow to 4-5 leaves, pinch the top, and after pinching twice in a row, it will basically be able to bloom.
Moreover, the cut branches and leaves will not go to waste. If you have spare flower pots at home, you can use them for cuttings. Propagating from cuttings with branches makes roots grow quickly, and you will soon have a small new Kalanchoe plant!
