Five steps for successful succulent leaf propagation: rooting and sprouting is easy, and it fills a large pot in a few months

Succulent leaf propagation is actually very easy to succeed at; as long as you master the following points, rooting is really easy.
1. Healthy leaves, intact bud points
The first step in succulent leaf propagation is to choose a healthy leaf. If the leaf is not healthy, it will dry up or rot during the leaf propagation process. Choosing the leaf is very important, and you must also ensure its bud point is intact. Without a bud point, it will not grow roots or sprout. When we twist off the leaves, try to wiggle them left and right to remove them, do not pull directly; pulling directly makes it easy to break the leaf, leaving no bud point, and it will not root.
2. The leaves need to dry
After the leaves are twisted off, be sure to let them dry for one to two days, placing them in a cool, ventilated place, so that the wound from removal feels slightly tightened. Then when placed on moist soil, the moisture will not cause the leaf wound to rot and turn to water.
3. The soil should be moist, not wet
The soil used for leaf propagation should have moisture, not be too wet; if too wet, the water vapor can easily rot the leaves. If the soil dries out, we can use the method of setting the flower pot in water, letting the water be absorbed halfway, then lift the pot out. Do not wet the soil surface; just let the leaves sense moisture at the bottom, and they will grow roots toward the place with moisture.
4. Good ventilation
Because with succulent leaf propagation, moisture in the soil rises upward. If ventilation is poor, the moisture will cling to the leaves and will not dry off for a long time, and over time it causes the leaves to turn to water. With air circulation, water vapor will not cling to the leaves for long.
5. Diffused light
Succulent leaf propagation must be given good diffused light; only with light can photosynthesis occur. Only then will it speed up rooting and sprouting. Placed in a dark environment for a long time, rooting is slow, and even after roots appear, the root system will be very weak, and after transplanting it will also easily die. Furthermore, light also plays a sterilizing role. It makes it less likely for bacteria to breed on the soil surface. Some people will say, what if the leaves get sunburned when exposed to light? As long as your leaves are healthy, they will not get sunburned.
As long as these five points are done, the success rate of leaf propagation is very high. In a few months it grows into a large plant.
