Plant just one morning glory and before long you can create a wall of flowers
The morning glory is probably the flower we are most familiar with. We can often see it in the fields, blooming with trumpet-like flowers one after another, which really has a distinctive charm. This flower is very easy to grow, so if you are known as a "plant killer", come along with Huahua and grow a pot of your own!
Morning glories can grow in all kinds of environments and are not afraid of high temperatures; they grow even better in sunlight, and with normal care you can enjoy their flowers for a long time. In the scorching summer, admiring this little flower may make your irritation vanish without a trace.
We can go buy morning glory seeds. After bringing them home, the first step is to germinate them. On the end of the seed that does not have a dent, you can cut a nick in the seed coat the size of a needle tip. Be sure not to cut too deep, otherwise you will cut into the flesh inside.
Next, place the nicked seeds on a wet paper towel. The main purpose of making a small opening is simply to let them absorb water faster, thereby speeding up germination!
Once you see the seeds have sprouted, you can sow them into a flower pot. Be careful not to plant too many in one pot, so that later they will not end up growing like weeds.
If you want to grow morning glories well, the quality of the soil is very important, especially for potted morning glories. You should use some loose, fertile garden soil; at this point you do not need to choose certain types. But if you are planting them outdoors, there is even less to worry about: let them take whatever wind, rain and sun come their way, and there will not be any problems.
After planting the morning glories, we should water them once, and then we can put them on the balcony for care. After about a week or so, we can see the seedlings come up.
At this point, sunlight is even more indispensable. After it has grown for a while, if conditions allow, we can build a growing trellis for it to climb on, so that when it blooms it really will be a wall of flowers!
When caring for morning glories, we must pay attention to watering, especially in summer, because the high temperature makes water evaporate quickly, so we need to keep the soil moist. Otherwise, a lack of water will cause a large number of flower buds to drop, and in severe cases it can also lead to yellow leaves or death.
